Another Decade gone....

I am into my last 2 hours of my twenties.
The most important years of my life, the years that shaped me who I am today are gone.
Lot of thinking happening in my head. Lot of muddles thoughts. will need to sort them out. Soon.

Why..Oh Why.....

Why does everything have to be so difficult...
Why do I have to struggle for every thing..
Why does not anything go according to plan..
Why does God dispose everything that I propose..

Why?? Someone tell me WHY??

Riddle-me-Ree, Who can she be?

Greetings wonderful MTBs!!!
and good work to all of you!
For having solved the riddle before
I give you all this clue.
This time its not a letter
nor is it a number clue
This time its just a good old blank
which means no clue for you!
Booooo! you say with spirit..
Yaaay! we say in throng!
For it is part of the thrill of the chase
which leads to the next little song!

“Not daunted by Adam's ribs, she
Speaks her own mind loud and clear;
Mother of a blogger and one herself
She makes a mean fish kalia.”

Solve it and you get your lead
Misguess, and you lose your speed
Solve it slow but solve it now
And before you go, take a little bow
Go to 'Comments' and leave me a clue
Tell me which blog you are off to.
Good luck! Good luck! Be on your way.
You have your work, cut out for the day!

Sahithi's Latest

Well, long time since I posted anything about Sahithi.
This happened a few weeks ago.

After me telling her repeatedly not to do something, she kept doing it.
I snapped and yelled at her saying something about how she is doing it even though she is not supposed to.
She was startled because I had not yelled her in quite a while. Her face crumpled and she went and sat a corner quietly.
I heard her cry after a few minutes and deliberately did not pay attention to her.
Few more minutes later I heard her say

" I have never seen a Momy yell like this. I don't think mommies should be yelling at little girls. All mommies should always be friendly"

And before I could take in those words she dissolved into tears and said

" My whole family made me sad. My whole family is my momy and dada and they made me sad".

I was quite startled. Gave her a few minutes, gave her a hug and told her I love you kannamma. And she replies back

" I know you love me but you made me sad".

My little baby is growing up *sigh*

Am back..For good.

So, what was I doing all these days...
Enjoying as long as my parents were here and then sulking after they are gone.
They could not stay for as long as they had planned to because of some unforeseen circumstances.
So they left and I sulked. Much better now. Got back into my usual routine.
So will be posting more regularly now.

What has been Sahithi up to these days..Loosing teeth. Already lost 6 of them. 4 back, 2 still missing and 2 loose. My baby is in a hurry to grow up. :(
She starts public school this year. Her registration is complete. Took her to see the new school and she LOVES it. And she is looking forward to go to the new school. She did not take the previous school change so well. So, I am kind of anxious about it.

Happy Birthday Dear Sweet Heart

Dearest Sahithi,

You will be 5 years old tomorrow.
Time just flies. Seems like yesterday you were born and now you are a young one with thoughts, likes and dislikes of your own and old enough to articulate them.
Sweetheart, you are the most important thing that has happened to us. You will always be our priority. Dada's little girl and Mama's sweet heart bangaru.

I know that I am probably not being the best mother to you. There are so many things that I wish I had done differently and In spite of all that, you have turned out to be the best and all the credit for that goes to you. There is so much I need to learn from you. Your abilty to forgive and forget in a heart beat, your ever smiling cheerful attitude, your patience with me and all the kids around and so many more. I was so very proud when one of your teachers told me that "Sahithi is the most cheerful and happy girl in school. She is game for anything. Never says no to try anything". I wish that you will always be like this and that some it rubs off on me .

I have been losing my patience with you so easily for such small things these days. My gift to you this birthday is a promise that I will be more patient with you. No more yellings, no more glarings, no more disapprovals. I proimse that I will put on my kiddie shoes, and be friends with you, enjoy your mischeif and may be become a part of it too. I will try and experience your childhood with you. And if I ever fail to do so, I will come back here to read this and remind myself.

There is so much more I want to say, but can't find words.
All I can say right now is I love you sweetheart and wish you all the happiness in the world.

Love,
Amma.
